There’s an ordinary looking guy who gives an unbelievable performance on stage of Korea’s Got Talent. He is 22 years old and named Choi, Sung-bong. He lived in a very difficult circumstance. He feels uncomfortable challenging on a competition. He wants to be like normal like as other people. Choi said, “I don’t sing that well, but when I sing I feel like I become a different person.” And he also tell to the judges that he enjoy singing.
Sung-Bong Choi, is an ordinary Korean laborer, who was left in the orphanage when he was just 3 years of age. And at 5 years old, he ran away after got beaten by people on the orphanage. By then he lives by selling gums or energy drinks on the street. He had that life for about ten years. He was living alone. He slept on the stairs or public toilet for ten years like a dayfly.
He never been educated and just took GED test to get his elementary and middle school degrees. High School was his first school he went to. He enjoys and like singing because it was the first thing he liked after living that dayfly-like life. Choi, Sung-bong humbly says “I’m not a good singer, but I just like it.”
